Meet Dr. Reimers
Dr. Nathaniel Reimers is a proud New Englander with a passion for interpersonal connection, caring for patients, and community service. Above all, Dr. Reimers strives to make his patients’ visits as pain-free as possible, and for his chair to be a comfortable place where they feel heard, respected, and pleased with the result. He particularly enjoys performing dento-alveolar procedures and holds his sedation license.
Growing up in the Boston area, Dr. Reimers attended the Roxbury Latin School and continued on to Dartmouth College. There, he played varsity lacrosse, served as social chair for his fraternity, and was awarded an undergraduate fellowship which allowed him to practice humanitarian work and public health in Central America.
Dr. Reimers earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). There he was a Dean’s List student and served as Class President. He was awarded the International College of Dentists Leadership Award and the American College of Dentists Senior Dental Student Award. He also completed a mission trip to treat pediatric patients in Tiacapan, Mexico and served as the student representative on the TUSDM Design Team, responsible for revising and updating the school’s didactic and clinical curriculum. Following graduation, Dr. Reimers completed two years of oral surgery residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY. However, he left the program early with his wife and new baby during the COVID pandemic. With immediate and extended family living in the South Coast and the Cape Cod regions, Dr. Reimers has a strong affinity for the area and a desire to give back to the community. In addition to his work at Ghenta Dental, he makes time in his schedule every month to work at local a community health clinic.
In his spare time, Dr. Reimers enjoys skiing, any activity involving salt water, and spending time with family.
